Columba Catholic Primary School Acknowledges the Bunurong Peoples’ of the Kulin Nation as Traditional Owners and Custodians and pay respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging.
Columba acknowledges the Bunurong’s continuing relationship to the land and waterways and respects that their connection and spiritual identity are maintained through ancient ceremonies, songlines, dance, art, and living culture.
We pay tribute to the invaluable contributions of the Bunurong and other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Elders who have guided and continue to guide our work.
Principal Message 8th March 2024
Dear Families,
On Wednesday 27th March, Columba will invite all community members to our second Annual Expo (Open Day). The purpose of the Expo is to open the school and it's learning spaces to the community, for both current and perspective families. It is a chance to 'check out' the school, meet many of our staff and other families. If you know of any new families to the area, please let them know we are OPEN FOR BUSINESS on March 27th from 4:15-7:30.
We will have activities for adults and children to engage in, community groups and much more in all of our learning spaces, so we encourage you all to come along, friends, family, even random strangers who might need a school for their child.
I am hopeful the Expo will help us all celebrate our wonderful learning community and serve as a way of us all being proud of our amazing school and all it has to offer.
I look forward to seeing many of you there.
For All Future Generations
Spanning across the six weeks of Lent each year, Project Compassion brings thousands of Australian schools, parishes, and supporters together to raise funds for people living in some of the most vulnerable communities across the world.
Your generous support can help change lives today - and For All Future Generations.
Assembly is held in the Multi-Purpose Room at 2:40 PM every Friday
15 March : Middle & Senior Grades
22 March : Prep & Junior Grades
Assembly change
We will begin assembly at a later time as they no longer go as long being less students are attending
New Starting Time - 2:40pm
This will ensure assembly finishes close, but not too close to the end of the day.
Parents are not to sign out their children after assembly unless there is a valid reason or they need to go to an appointment. All students for both senior and Junior assembly will need to return to class and parents will need to wait for their child to be dismissed.
