Dear Parents,

On Wednesday 3rd May, we will be holding a Learning Expo at school. The school will be open after hours for all community members. We ask that you let all families know that the school will be open for this time, especially those who are considering Columba in the coming years as a school for their children.

The Expo will be a chance for the school to celebrate our learning. All classrooms will showcase the learning that happens in our classes and teachers will have activities set up for visitors. We know that mums, dads and other family members don't always have the chance or time to come into school and for that reason, we would like this to be an annual event through which we can celebrate our wonderful school together.

As this will be the last newsletter for Term 1, I want to thank everyone for your contribution to our last 10 weeks at Columba. I know that all the learning and school events cannot happen unless we all contribute in our own little ways. Lunches, clean uniforms, neat hair, colour days, sports uniforms, camp equipment, NAPLAN worries, losing hats, finding jumpers, bruised knees, coughs and sneezes, it's a lot! So thank you for giving your children the best opportunity to learn, the best opportunity to enjoy their primary school education and giving them the best opportunity to be taught by the wondeful educators in our school.
