RESPECT
Each fortnight we focus on one of our school values: Respect, Fairness, Generosity, Inspiration, Perseverance. We model and look for opportunties to teach our students values which underpin the way we believe we should live and interact with others and with our world.
Respect is shown when we think about the feelings, ideas and needs of others.
Jesus is a great model of respect; he always treated others with kindness and acted in ways that made people feel safe and happy.
“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the law and the prophets". - MATTHEW 7:12
This is the value of Alcott Blue House named after Dylan Alcott, a tennis champion and someone who stands up for those with a disability, highlighting how courageous people can be with the right attitude.
Perseverance is about never giving up and always trying our best.

AFRICAN DRUMMING WORKSHOPS
On Wednesday 2nd August and Thursday 3rd August, all students had the opportunity to participate in African Drumming Lessons. African Drumming visited our school and gave our students a chance to dance, beat some drums, sing and just have a bunch of fun. Thank to Mrs Lucas for organising this wonderful learning.
