The Daniel Ahern Bursary is directed at non-teachers currently employed in primary and secondary schools in the Diocese of Sale, who are presently undertaking teacher education studies. The Bursary provides financial support to the recipients for 12 months.

Brianna started working at Columba in 2009 and has partaken in many different support roles during her time at the school. She currently works as a Learning Support Officer in the junior and middle classrooms and assists with various literacy programs. Brianna is in her third year of educational studies and is working to become a primary school teacher through Swinburne University Online.
