School Concert News

It is time to start thinking about costume items that will need to be supplied for the school concert. These items are needed by the end of August.

We are very excited to share that our school concert will be next term, on Tuesday 17th September. The students have begun practising in class for this very important event. We want to give families as much notice as possible, so everyone has time to get organized.

The name of the concert is ‘The Antiques Roadshow’ and will see each class perform to music from different decades. Some costume items will be supplied by school and some we ask families to supply. Below is a list of what families are asked to supply.

The Parents and Friends team are planning a SILENT AUCTION to be held during our school concert at the Warragul Arts Centre.

This will be Columba's major fundraiser for the year.

Donations needed

If you have contacts with

- an individual that could supply an item

- a business that could supply an item

- items at you own house that could be donated as auction items

Please send them to school administration as soon as you can

Lunch Orders will be back for term 3.

The first day for Lunch Orders will be Thursday 18th July.

Lunch orders will again be avalabe on Monday and Thursdays each week.

A new addition to the school uniform

As of now, the Fight MND beanies can we worn as part of the Columba School Uniform. This means that children have two options for a beanie

- School Beanie bought at Beleza

- Fight MND (Big Freeze) Beanie (any year)

In 2025, we will have beanies available for purchase at our school office. If you have spare Fight MND (Big Freeze) beanies at home that you no longer need, please feel free to donate them to school for our second hand uniform collection.
