Get ready for a cozy day at school! On Friday, July 4th, which is the last day of Term 2, we'll be holding a Pyjama Day to support The Pyjama Foundation and in support of Bunyip Kinder.

For a gold coin donation, students are invited to come to school dressed in their favourite PJs. All money raised will go directly to the National Pyjama Day fundraiser, which officially takes place on Friday, July 25th, 2025.

The Pyjama Foundation does incredible work, raising much-needed awareness and funds for children in foster care. The money collected helps them offer learning skills, fund educational resources, and provide stable, positive relationships for these vulnerable children.

We're also excited to announce a special partnership for this event! Our student leaders will be visiting Bunyip Kindergarten on Pyjama Day to share the spirit of giving and foster connections within our local community.

As a Catholic school, we embrace opportunities like Pyjama Day to engage with Catholic Social Teaching. This event perfectly aligns with several key principles:

• Dignity of the Human Person: Every child, especially those in foster care, deserves to be treated with respect and to have their inherent dignity upheld. By supporting The Pyjama Foundation, we help provide them with the resources and relationships they need to thrive.
• Preferential Option for the Poor and Vulnerable: Catholic Social Teaching calls us to prioritize the needs of the most vulnerable in our society. Children in foster care often face significant challenges, and our contributions help to lighten their burden and offer them hope.

Pyjama Day encourages our school community to unite in support of a common good – providing a brighter future for children in foster care.
