Columba works hard to establish, evaluate and maintain a high standard of School Wide Expectations for all it's staff and students. Through our whole schoolapproach to positive behaviour (WSAPB), we aim to engage our school students in their learning, supporting them to see themselves as successful learners who achieve their personal best.
At Columba we know that when all members of the school community work collaboratively and each child has the opportunity to fully participate and engage in the process of learning, success will follow.
Following our school Mission and Vision Statement, we will instil in all our students a mindset that they can achieve together through 5 core values being
Respect
“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets". - Matthew 7:12
Perseverance

"For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised". - Hebrews 10:36
Inspiration

"Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing". - Thessalonians 5:11
Generosity
Hollows House - Named after Fred Hollows
Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you. - LUKE 6:37–38
Fairness
MacKillop House - Named after Mary MacKillop
Blessed are they who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times! - Psalm 106:3
The five pillars by which we adhere, in all that we do, as members of the Columba team.
